PHILIPP PLEIN OPENS STORE IN KITZBÜHEL

German designer Philipp Plein has opened a monobrand store in Kitzbühel, Austria. The boutique is the designer’s second one in Austria, but the first one that offers only accessories, all ‘made in Italy’.

The boutique is located in Kitzbühel’s main shopping area, Vorderstadt 29, where many other renowned fashion brands have their shops. The interior is kept allover white so the accessories can be presented in a better way. The walls are covered with ostrich leather; the floor is made out of high quality stone which mark a contrast to Philipp Plein’s glam rock symbol, the crystallized skull. The handmade skulls are over one meter high and decorated with 40,000 CRYSTALLIZED™ - Swarovski Elements stones. The skull is a central element of every Philipp Plein boutique.

Crystal Snow Flake was the theme of the opening party that hosted an outdoor fashion show with music by Pierre Sarkozy aka DJ MOSEY. VIP guests included It-Girl Peaches Geldof as well as Fiona Swarovski.
