PEPE JEANS OPENS STORE IN HAMBURGTwo months after having opened its first flagship store in Rome, Pepe Jeans London carries on to further expand on the German market.
Continuing earlier store openings in Cologne, Centro Oberhausen, Frankfurt and Berlin, on Dec. 4, Pepe Jeans London celebrated its new store in Hamburg, located downtown at Gänsemarkt 33.
„The store expansion has nothing to do with the recent investors’ acquisition,” Uwe Boser, Country Manager Pepe Jeans London, says. „We’ve had our favorite German cities such as Hamburg for quite a long time in the focus for new store openings. Munich is definitely one of our main targets in the near future, so is Stuttgart or Düsseldorf. I think stores are very important and we want to keep the city centers alive. So we try to keep the online retail in a quite manageable scale.“
The store offers the brand's whole range
„There is no standard interior concept for our stores. Our philosophy is, to adapt each store to its direct environment and to the city’s spirit. We don’t want to set up anything futuristic and it doesn’t fit the location,” Boser adds.
