P&C WITH TWO NEW “BOUTIQUES”

Last week department store chain Peek & Cloppenburg Düsseldorf reopened two editions of their young fashion concept “Boutique.”

Thursday, March 15 marked the reopening of the Boutique department in the retailer’s 10,800 sqm. Dortmund location. Post-renovation, shoppers can now find collections from Tigerhill, Eleven Paris, Khujo, Vila, Replay, Superdry and Hilfiger Denim over a 1,500 sqm area. The range of stores along the ground level has also been extended and now includes shops from G-Star, Diesel, Pepe Jeans, Adidas and P&C’s own label Review.

The 3,200 sqm branch in Siegen simultaneously inaugurated its first Boutique department on a space of over 400 sqm. Due to construction, men’s and women’s fashion had to be split onto two different floors; the women’s Boutique is now located next to other female fashion from designer brands to outdoor clothing on the first floor, with the men's Boutique assortment next to the men’s outdoor and business clothing in the basement.

During the opening days from March 15-17th, visitors of the two Boutique concepts were able to benefit from special opening offers, including a lottery and food and beverages.

Kamil Dellinger, manager of the P&C branch in Siegen, was very pleased with the results. He stated, “The opening of the new Boutique area was a great success – over 5,000 customers came to celebrate and take a look at the new department, labels and trends. Everyone was enthusiastic and that makes us very happy. With the Boutique, we can now offer an outstanding selection of cool brands and trendy streetwear aimed at Siegen's younger fashion audience.”
