Nike opens new Berlin Flagship
On Friday, February 14, Nike will open a new flagship store in Berlin, located at Europa-Center on Tauentzienstraße 9-12.
The new 2,600 sqm store occupies three floors and will carry the complete Nike offer, including the brand’s Football, Women’s, Running, Basketball, Action Sports, Young Athletes and Sportswear (NSW) collections.
A special highlight will be the “Home of the Athlete“, a generous Nike Football space showcasing the latest product innovations worn by top players such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Franck Ribéry and Mario Götze.
Moreover, Nike Berlin will showcase the training possibilities digital innovations Nike+ Running and Nike+ FuelBand SE, and offer an embroidery machine for football shoes, a NikeID customization terminal, a running analysis area and a Nike Training Club gym on the upper floor.
The inauguration of Nike Berlin will take place on February 14 at 2pm. The American former track and field athlete Carl Lewis, awarded “Sportsman of the Century“ will be present.
The store has held one event previously. Last Thursday, February 6, four-time Olympic gold medallist, runner Allyson Felix presented Nike’s latest running shoe, Flyknit Lunar 2 in front of 100 invited guests in the German capital.
