New Head of European Sales for Bravado


David Boyne has been appointed Head of European Sales for Bravado, Universal Music Group’s global music merchandising division, as was announced last week by Bravado’s global CEO Tom Bennett at the company’s Annual Summit for partners and employees in London. Boyne continues to lead Bravado UK which he has run since joining the business as Managing Director in 2010.

In his new role, which is effective immediately, Boyne will work closely with the existing Bravado teams across Europe to both build on the company’s current retail partnerships as well as opening key new accounts.

Tom Bennett said: “David has done a fantastic job at Bravado UK since joining us three years ago. With his instinctive understanding of the lifestyle clothing sector, of building brands and of retail he has transformed our UK business and I’m looking forward to him having a similar impact on our already highly successful European operations.”

Boyne has over 20 years’ experience in the fashion business. Prior to joining Bravado in 2010, he spent five years as Managing Director of the British operations of Ben Sherman. He has experience of both the wholesale and retail sectors including working with names such as Timberland and French Connection.
