New 14 Oz. Store At Berlin's Ku'Damm Sets A Retail Standard
Last night saw the offical opening of the second 14 oz. store. In addition to his two shops in Berlin Mitte, owner and founder Karl-Heinz Müller has chosen Charlottenburg in West Berlin as location for his latest retail coup.
Set on the upper Kurfürstendamm area, surrounded by luxury mono-brand designer boutiques, the multi-brand store strives to be a highlight of the West Berlin shopping scene. Over more than 600 m², 14 oz. shows a selection of high class denim and sportswear brands as well as contemporary mens and womenswear such as Denham the Jeanmaker, Red Wing, Nigel Cabourn, Windsor, Woolrich, Macintosh or Canada Goose.
But in addition to the vast assortment, the shop interior alone left last night's opening guests, among them Adriano Goldschmied or Jason Denham, astounded making the West Berlin 14 oz. a true retail phenomenon that sets a unyielding retail benchmark.
Bread & Butter boss Karl-Heinz Müller was more than satisfied with the start of the new store, "I am overwhelmed and just happy! I thank everyone who supported me with this crazy project and I am pleased that 14 oz. now has a home in East and West Berlin."
