NURAGE SETS ITS SIGHTS ON AMERICAAccessories label Nurage plans to enter the American market for Fall/Winter 2012/13. The brand will collaborate with the shoe label Candice Cooper at the Magic and Fashion Coterie shows, in Las Vegas (February 13-15) and New York (February 21-23), respectively.
The 80-piece collection that will be introduced to the US market includes belts, bags, bracelets, wallets and other small leather goods. Friedemann von Stein, the brand's creative head, expects the USA to become its most significant export market and figures on 40 – 60 new clients. The company presently exports to Switzerland, Austria, The Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Iceland and England, which amounts to an export quota of 35-40%.
For Fall/Winter 2012/13 Nurage will continue to expand its bag line with new leather structures and colors such as biscuit, ivory and chestnut paired with purple for contrast.
