Moncler is moving house in ParisFollowing the June inauguration of the 350sqm Milan boutique at 1, Via Montenapoleone, Moncler has opened a new boutique and headquarters in Paris, which occupies six floors and is located at 7, Rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré.
Just a few steps from the first store at number 5, an entire building houses the shop itself, the showroom and offices over a total 1,045sqm. The area set aside for sales, designed by the Gilles & Boissier architecture studio, which has worked with the fashion house on the design of all its stores, occupies a total 280sqm on the ground floor. Added to this is165sqm on the first floor and 100sqm in the basement. The remaining 500sqm on the other four storeys will make room for the showroom and offices.
The outfitting recalls the tried-and-tested concept of the Milan flagship store. Cool grey stone is paired with smoky wood panelling and ceiling beams. Ultra-light glass and black lacquered metal are combined to create cabinets and display stands, and installations create unexpected scenes inside the store. The window seems to represent a bright, magical gateway into the Moncler world. In addition to the Moncler main collection for men and women, the new Paris flagship store houses all the fashion houses collections, from Moncler Gamme Rouge to Moncler Gamme Bleu, Moncler Grenoble for men and women, Moncler Lunettes and accessories.
The opening event of the new flagship store is scheduled for 26 September, during the Paris Fashion Week.
