MIH OPENS POP-UP STORE AND MOVES HEADQUARTERSThe team behind MIH has been keeping busy lately. The London-based jeans label is currently running a pop-up store within the King’s Road branch of Anthropologie – a location which happens to be the birthplace of MIH (originally known as Made in Heaven). The brand was first introduced to the market in the late 1960s via Jean Machine, the cult shop situated at the exact same spot as Anthropologie. Giving the space an authentic flavor, a selection of 1970s photographs featuring Chekkie Maskell – the original MIH house model and mother of creative director Chloe Lonsdale – has been brought in to complement the well edited offering of jeans and separates such as shirts, tees and jackets.
Aside from the pop-up venture launch, MIH has moved to a new home since outgrowing its former offices on Lots Road in West London. The new base is in Shepherds Bush and houses the brand's offices, design studios and a showroom.
