MAVI OPENS STORE IN HAMBURG

Turkish denim brand Mavi has announced that it will continue its expansion plan with a fifth monobrand store in Hamburg, Germany’s Elbe shopping center. The brand will present its entire men’s and women’s collections as well as accessories across 350 sqm of the mall’s ground floor with a store concept that links to that of Denim Kitchen, featured in Berlin, Düsseldorf and Hamburg. Expansion manager Jens Kampa explained, “We’ve planned one or two metropolis flagship stores for 2013 as well as a few shopping center locations and a couple in smaller cities. We also have plans to open our first outlet center by no later than 2013.” Two more stores will open this September in Oberhausen and Leipzig with further shop-in-shops planned for the DACH area.
