Lange retires from his operative functions at Frontlineshop
As emerged today, Torsten Lange, founder and former CEO of fashion online store Frontlineshop, has retired from the operative business of his company at the beginning of June. After 27 years of heading the enterprise, he has now handed over the complete management responsibilities to the remaining CEOs Stefan Sommer and Matthias Zillmer.
"However, Torsten Lange will remain with Frontlineshop - firstly as an associate and secondly as part of an advisory board, which we are founding at the moment”, said Stefan Sommer.
Sommer himself joined the Frontline GmbH at the beginning of April 2013 and took on responsibility for the product, sourcing and private label segments.
Meanwhile, Matthias Zillmer is responsible for the finance, IT and business intelligence segments within the management team. He joined Frontlineshop in September after long-term CEO Stefan Puriss left the company.
No details about Lange’s motivation to leave the company and his future plans have been revealed yet.
