LVMH PURCHASES STAKE IN DONDUP

L Capital, a fund controlled by France’s LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton Group, has acquired a 40% stake in Dondup, the Italian premium jeans brand. The brand was founded in 1999 by CEO Massimo Berloni and is designed by Manuela Mariotti. The agreement forms part of a new strategy to develop the brand globally. Dondup registered a €60 million turnover in 2009.
