LUDWIG GÖRTZ LINES UP NEW MANAGEMENT

The Görtz group has appointed 42-year-old Thorsten Hermelink as head of branding. He will be responsible for the development of home brands, direct sourcing, the international wholesale business and retail concepts for Görtz 17 and Görtz Shoes. Before Hermelink begins his new position at Görtz in the second fiscal quarter of 2012, he will continue as CEO of retailer Strauss Innovation.

As of February 2012 45-year-old Christian Moritz, who has served as CEO of the subsidiaries Görtz GmbH and Görtz Kompakt GmbH since 2007, will begin his new role as the head of Ludwig Görtz's multibranding department. He will be responsible for the purchase and development of industry brands and will simultaneously retain his prior leadership commitments.

The new appointments complete the management restructuring process of the group. Christoph von Guionneau remains chairman of the management board.
