13 Sep. 2012
LIU JO REOPENS MILAN FLAGSHIPLiu Jo reopened its Milan flagship store this month, making it the label’s largest point of sale, which now covers 350 sqm. The newly restyled Corso Vittorio Emanuele II boutique offers the brand’s entire range – Liu Jo, Liu Jo Jeans Women and Men, Accessories, Shoes, Underwear, Beachwear and Junior collections – in a glamorous and modern environment reflective of Liu Jo’s core values.
Studio Christopher Ward developed the sophisticated architectural and interior design concept, studded with a selection of suspended lamps, armchairs and light-colored carpets by Tom Dixon. Other touches include onyx-printed glass shelves and high-tech fading panels that work to reveal installations and structural elements. Accessories are elegantly arranged along metal mesh shelving while dresses adorn the walls in golden geometric patterns made by their corresponding hangers.
Another highlight is the new “Virtual Stylist” that suggests combinations, alternative possibilities and themes while interacting with customers for informed and easy shopping. Liu Jo plans to open many more locations by the end of the year, including shops in cities such as Barcelona, Rotterdam and Shanghai. With a 265 million Euro turnover in 2011 and over 220 mono-brand points of sale around the world, the brand is set to its path of success.
