LEVI’S GERMANY APPOINTS NEW SALES MANAGER

Frankfurt-based Levi Strauss Germany GmbH has named Michael Anthes its new sales director, effective July 1, 2010. Most recently, Anthes held the position of category sales manager for Nike, after having been in different sales positions for Nike before. To Levi’s, Anthes will not only bring deep experience in sales but also excellent leadership skills. Anthes, who will directly report to general manager Torsten Widarzik, will succeed Chris Triesch who is leaving the company on June 30. The Levi Strauss Europe, Middle East and North Africa Division (LSEMA), with its headquarters in Brussels, sells products by Levis Strauss & Co. in 65 countries.
