LACOSTE OPENS FLAGSHIP STORE IN HAMBURG

French lifestyle brand Lacoste has opened its worldwide first flagship store according to the new store concept in Hamburg. The store with 360sqm is located on Neuer Wall 63 and offers innovative sportswear, colourful kidswear, the young trend-setting L!VE collection, footwear, totes, jewelry as well as leather accessories and the classic Lacoste polo shirt. The store is divided into several areas, such as the ‘World of Polo’ on the ground floor or the classical Lacoste World for men and women.

The store design can be described as urban, unique and high-quality and was carried out by saal3 Architektur and Fa. Knoblauch and Fa. Schmitt under the project management of Tatjana Rothermundt of Yello Sport GmbH. Amongst the eye-catchers of the new store are, for instance, the ‘Legacy Wall’ with historical motives of the brand history, or the impressive ‘Polo Wall’, where the customer gets a first overview of the different styles and colors.

Lacoste was founded in 1933 by French tennis legend René Lacoste and since then was developed into an international fashion and lifestyle brand. Worldwide, the company operates over 1,100 own stores and 2,000 shop-in-shops. The second and third flagship stores according to the new store concept will be opened soon on Champs Elysées in Paris and on New York’s 5th Avenue.
