Jacob Cohën opens first Italian store in Taormina, Sicily
Jacob Cohen, Italian premium denim brand, has opened its first Italian monobrand store, in the prestigious Taormina seaside location of Sicily.
Marco Tiburzi, sales and marketing manager commented: “We are very happy we have inaugurated our first flagship store in Taormina. It is one of the world’s most beloved and renowned touristic locations, immediately connected with the Italian style. Taormina, as well as Saint-Tropez, where we opened our first flagship-store, is one of the most iconic internationally visited touristic and cultural destinations. Thanks to this opening Jacob Cohen is reaching six monobrand stores together with the already existing ones of Saint-Tropez, Montecarlo, Courchevel, Anversa and Tokyo.”
The store is hosted inside one of the most beautiful baroque palaces of Corso Umberto, a few steps away from Belvedere of Taormina. Designed by architect Federico Gigetti, the store – as all the other monobrand stores – is decorated with wood and denim panels and elements reminding of typical local craftsmanship of the 1950s and 1960s. The store hosts two areas, one for men and one for women, and is completed by a huge balcony facing an orange grove.
