JUST CAVALLI OPENS MILAN FLAGSHIP STORE

Just Cavalli has announced plans to open its new flagship store on September 22 in Milan’s golden shopping triangle, located on Corso Matteotti 18, with doors opening onto Via Montenapoleone. The two-story, 450 sqm store will be connected with a crystal elevator and dark stone stairs and was inspired by a contemporary and young urban loft image. The main entrance features a concrete portal while shop windows highlight python-printed metal screens. The initiative is part of the brand's overall relaunch strategy, according to the licensing agreement collaboration signed in 2011 between the designer/entrepreneur Roberto Cavalli and Staff International, a company under Renzo Rosso's Only The Brave holding.

The boutique will offer men and women's prêt-à-porter collections, accessories, eyewear, bijoux, watches and underwear. The ground floor will house women's accessories, apparel and undergarments as well as men's apparel and accessories and a wall display dedicated to denim. A "bridge" area will showcase T-shirts and aged steel and metallic industrial shelves will host hanging collections, while a light display surrounds the accessories collection. Sofas and chairs personally designed by Roberto Cavalli and made with exclusive Just Cavalli fabrics will complete the store's interior image.

An exclusive opening party will take place on September 21 in the nearby shopping gallery Galleria del Toro, adjacent to Piazza San Babila. The gallery will be closed for the event and decorated according to the most impressive themes from the Just Cavalli collection while introducing the launch of the “Lock Your Love” capsule, a project involving all of the licensing partners – Staff International, Morellato (watches and jewels), Marcolin (eyewear) and Albisetti (underwear and beachwear). The limited edition line is made up of 40 items including a watch, sunglasses, jewels, and iPhone and iPad covers and will be available for purchase at the new flagship and online starting on September 22.

"I feel very near to the young and their world,” commented Roberto Cavalli, president of the group that created the Just Cavalli brand. “I’m constantly watching and observing them for inspiration and energy. I'm curious to learn about their favorite music and places to go. They are so demanding in their search for fashion that they stimulate me into satisfying their needs as best as I can."
