JAM TO BE TERMINATED

JAM (Jeans Affair Munich) will not be continued to take place. The organizer of the tradeshow, Sebastian Klinder, who is also responsible for the textile fair Munich Fabric Start, confirmed that it doesn’t make sense to continue with JAM as he explains: „With Bread & butter moving back to Berlin, the gap within the fair landscape that nourished JAM’s existence for a few seasons suddenly disappeared.” In the future, Klinder wants to concentrate on Munich Fabric Start.

JAM was launched in 2007 after Bread & butter moved to Barcelona to establish a new platform for denim and sportswear brands within the German market. After a few satisfying seasons they moved from Munich to Cologne, from Cologne to Berlin and in the end back to Munich. With the big kick-off-event in Berlin, there seems to be no more need for a format like JAM.
