Claudia Oszwald, Country Manager in Serbia, says: “We have had an amazing response from our customers here in Belgrade on the first day of the opening and we look forward to bringing H&M’s concept of fashion and quality at the best price to Serbia. We know that people in Serbia are familiar with the H&M brand from shopping in other countries, but from today Serbia is a hot spot on the H&M world map, especially within this region.”

Besides the new store in Serbia, H&M has signed a contract for a store to open in South Africa. The store is planned to open at the earliest in 2015 and will be a full concept flagship store.

“We are very excited to announce the opening of an H&M store in South Africa. We see great potential for further expansion in this region. We look forward to bringing fashion and quality at the best price to the customers in South Africa,” says Karl-Johan Persson, CEO, H&M.
