HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ONITSUKA!Onitsuka Tiger is celebrating its 60th birthday this year, and for the occasion the Japanese sportswear and sneaker brand has gifted itself with its very own magazine. Titled “Made of Japan,” the publication shows on 260 pages the history of the brand and articles by guest writers, including US basketball Star Dave Cowens and flashy Japanese table tennis player Yotsumoto. About 10,000 copies will be published and sold beginning in September at select stores throughout Europe and the US, including Colette (Paris), do you read me?! (Berlin), SPRMRKT (Amsterdam), International Magazine Store (Antwerpen), Selfridges (London), Henrik Vibskov Boutique (Kopenhagen) and the Onitsuka Flagship Stores. It retails for about €15. Onitsuka also plans to release a limited-edition anniversary set containing a pair of sneakers and a T-shirt.
