GERMANY’S MUSTANG SEEKS LARGER PRESENCE IN ASIA

German sportswear brand Mustang is hoping to grow its business in Asia. An attendee at Shanghai's Novo Mania trade show, it presented its F/W 10 collection to Chinese retail decision-makers both at its booth and via a live fashion show. More recently, earlier this month the brand opened its second company-owned store in Hong Kong. Located on the trendy, high traffic Lockhart Road in Causeway Bay, the shop offers stylish, urban denim bottoms, tops, accessories and complete outfits, as buses around downtown Hong Kong sport Mustang’s summer campaign based on the theme of friendship and travel. Mustang is also rapidly growing its presence in India. Consumers now can find the company’s highly popular and fashionable outfits in six Mustang shop-in-shops there. By the end of April, the number is expected to increase to 14, with added locations in New Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Calcutta and Amritsrar. More shop-in-shops are set to open in the coming months.
