Gas has been involved in very different art and design initiatives. “Gas has always shown strong attention to and support of young creatives," comments Barbara Grotto, Head of Communication, Gas. Following this sponsorship, Gas will launch a special limited edition series of t-shirts, each one carrying a design element by ten of these designers and inspired by the brand's own indentity. This special collection will be presented within Milan Design Week in April of 2011 and, from June 2011 also sold via the Gas website as well as at the brand’s worldwide flagship stores.
"Since 2005, we have been launching a series of 'Gas for Arts' projects and collaborations with young creatives, and art and design schools. The next one will be carried out with Italy's IED school," continues Grotto while recalling the recent publication “25Days" in April of 2010, focused on interpreting the brand's own identity as seen through the eyes of a group of young creatives, in occasion of the brand's 25th anniversary.
Gas has also just launched its newly redesigned website. “The web is the heart of our communication strategy," says Grotto. “All of our creativity originates from here." In 2010, the brand's website was visited by over one million visitors, about 4,000 visitors per day.
