Fornarina expands in Eastern Europe and LebanonItalian footwear and apparel brand Fornarina (fornarina.com) is planning a series of openings in Eastern Europe this Spring.
On 22nd March 2013 they opened the third Fornarina store in Prague, the fifth in the Czech Republic. This store is based in the Crni Most Shopping Mall and resonates with Fornarina’s feminine mood and style. The store features minimal design, and colour juxtaposition of the black and pink logo, to frame and display the products of the different apparel, jeans, shoes and accessories departments.
By the end of March other important events will follow, including the re-opening of the Portorose store in Slovenia, the first Fornarina store in Armenia, in Yerevan, as well as four new points of sale in Russia, in Volgograd, Smolensk, Kazan and a corner at the Butik.ru shopping mall, a key Russian player in the online shopping business.
The latest opening holds particular prestige, and will take place out of Europe: the second Fornarina Store is to open this March in Beirut, in the City Centre, within a latest-generation shopping mall, which was built by the Maijad Al Futtaim Holding, one of the best-known developers in the Arab market.
Thanks to these new openings the network of Fornarina Stores in Eastern Europe will increase to 30, thus confirming the strong growth of the brand, which marked a 66% increase in order volume between 2010 to 2012.
All these new stores are supported through special marketing and communication initiatives. For the Pranga store in Lithuania, and Sportina in Slovenia, they designed unique shop-window displays characterised by full of lush vegetation in collaboration with the imaginative Japanese illustrator Kahori Maki.
