In a time where humanitarian and environmental issues affect every aspect of our lives, fashion can blaze a trail for change. On Tuesday 24th of April, Ireland's fair city of Dublin will host an event about just that.

Called Fashion Evolution (fashionevolution.org) this awareness campaign will readdress Irish consumers and industry about ethical and environmental issues within fashion. The event will mark one week of activities including a cafe style seminar, an ethical fashion exhibition and the Totally Oxfam Design competition supported by Oxfam Ireland.

Designer Katharine Hamnett and Head of Corporate Social Responsibilty for M&S Mike Barry will participate in what is bound to be an impassioned public debate. Tickets are 12 Euro and available from tickets.ie
