DOC MARTENS OPENS NYC STORE

Following a soft launch on October 25, Dr. Martens officially opened its first New York flagship last night with an in-store party that unveiled the space to the press.

The store, located at 148 Spring Street in SoHo, features a décor, furniture and fixtures inspired by the footwear brand’s factory in Northamptonshire, England. It carries the brand’s full offering of boots, shoes, sandals and accessories and a special limited edition 1460 boot in Liberty Green and Big Apple Red that are store exclusives.

UK-based Dr. Martens, which is privately owned by the Griggs family, is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
