Closed opens first store in ParisDuring the Woman’s Fashion Week, Closed has opened its first flagship store in Paris, located in the fashion and gallery district le Marais, in 18 rue de Poitou.
To celebrate the opening Closed launched its new Autumn/Winter 2013 woman’s collection and new Skywalk capsule concept.

Oliver Zahm, editor-in-chief of Purple Fashion magazine, and Kostas Murkudis, creative director, Closed, celebrated the opening with a collaboration. Together they created a limited run of 125 Purple Jeans, which are available exclusively at the Paris store, on www.closed.com and www.purple.fr.
The interior of the store was created by Philipp Mainzer Office for Architecture and Design and is focused on materiality. Marble, stone, steel, glass and non-directional lighting are combined to create a calm, harmonic backdrop for the collection.
Besides the collection and the Purple Jeans, Closed also launched its online shop in French, fr.closed.com.
