Clinton acquires shares of Pohland, Cologne

Clinton Group to invest in Pohland menswearClinton Group has announced it has acquired shares of Cologne based company Pohland Herrenkleidung GmbH & Co. KG.
“With this step we ensure the competence of a designated German menswear fashion house. The brand portfolio in combination with the potential of Pohland’s target group and consumers were significant for our share. The cooperation is set as long-term strategy for Pohland and its partners. In addition, it should push sales of our brands Camp David and J.Philipp”, explained the CEO of Clinton Group.
Hanau based menswear brand J.Philipp was acquired 100 % by Clinton Group in March 2013.
The management board of Pohland judges the acquisition of Clinton as an important milestone for the company: “We are happy to have found a financially strong and strategic partner with Clinton Group, who will accompany the successful and consistent development of the Pohland concept and support our future growth strategy.”
