Capsule cancels Jan ’15 Berlin Edition

Capsule, the international trade show for progressive brands and directional designers, will not hold its Berlin edition this January due to Berlin’s Fashion Week’s scheduled overlap with New York Men’s Market. The show is expected to return to Berlin in summer 2015.

“We remain committed to providing the best platform for our exhibitors to bring their collections to market,” said co-founder Deirdre Maloney. “After much internal discussion and surveying of Capsule brands, we have decided the best way to reach that goal is to move forward with the Capsule New York Men’s show in January and take the season off in Berlin. The international market week schedule in the winter is so tight that any changes to the calendar force everyone to make tough decisions.”
Capsule Paris Men’s, Capsule Las Vegas and Capsule Women’s in Paris and New York will continue to be held for the autumn/winter 2015 season. Their specific dates will be released after September.
Capsule began in New York in 2007. The Berlin edition debuted in July 2011.
