CPD SIGNATURES WITH SUCCESSFUL DEBUT

The debut edition of Igedo Company’s new trade show CPD Signatures from Feb. 6-8, 2011, was successful. The extensive and, above all, partially new brand portfolio as well as the modern look and well-structured layout proved a positive surprise for the 15,600 visitors from Germany and abroad, most of them from Eastern Europe and Russia. Managing Partner of Igedo Company Philipp Kronen, said: “It was a very good and coherent event presented with a new face at a new location.”

In addition to many new visitors specifically seeking suppliers of young fashion, denim and casual sportswear, was the high number and quality of foreign visitors. “The first step has been taken,” Mirjam Dietz, Executive Director of Fashion, underlined. Jeans and fashion brands like H.I.S., Colorado, Firetrap, Gang, Colins, Cipo & Baxx, Rusty Neal, Paddock´s and Justing had their debut on CPD Signatures. In general, they were in a good mood. Sunday was the busiest day in hall 13 und 14. The atmosphere was relaxed. “We had a lot of visitors, and about of 30 new clients on our booth,” said Wolfgang Sahm, Managing Director of H.I.S. “In Düsseldorf we are making business,” explained Frank Götz of Firetrap. Most brands reported big response to the new collection, especially tapered fits, chinos and new denim washings, tops and jackets. While most trade visitors and exhibitors seemed very satisfied with the new format, some brands were missing a “better neighborhood” or complained that the jeans sector was too small.

The next edition of CPD Signatures will be held from July 24-26, 2011.

About 250 international collections were showing on 4,000sqm at the order show “Supreme” by Munichfashion. Visitors were impressed of the nice atmosphere and the professional business. The organisation team Verena Malta and Aline Schade were happy with the new and modern location Sky office. Likewise, Premium Order Düsseldorf was also positively impressed of the order show with a high frequency and a high quality of visitors. The next Premium Order show will take place in Munich from Feb. 19-22.
