COTTON COUNCIL PRESENTS SEAL OF COTTON TO INDIA

At this year’s India Fashion Forum, the Cotton Council International, the export promotional arm of the American cotton supporter National Cotton Council of America, presented the Seal of Cotton trademark to India. This international symbol for quality cotton apparel and textile products is appointed to retailers, brands and manufacturers that collaborate with the common, natural fiber. With the help of the Seal of Cotton trademark customers can identify products that contain almost 100% cotton. “With the Seal of Cotton on your products, you offer to your consumers what the world is wearing,” said Agneiszka Fijol, senior manager of Cotton Council South Asia. By promoting and providing information about the licensing program at IFF, Cotton Council International wants to increase its degree of popularity in India and attract new licensees to support the non-synthetics industry.
