CHEVIGNON REVAMPS ITS TOGS DOWN JACKET
The Chevignon Togs down jacket was an iconic fashion piece in the 90s. In collaboration with the company, the French model, photograph and press agent Jacques Shu has newly reinterpreted the originally sleeveless down jacket in five different styles, named after cities. The Paris jacket has a gray chevron reminiscent of traditional Parisian parquets and the London a Scottish tartan. The New York jacket sports a baseball style, while the Capri jacket is made with pale blue seersucker. The Tokyo jacket has a Japanese floral print. Each style comes in a limited run of 100. In France, the concept store Colette will begin selling the jackets this September, while distribution in other countries will be spread across selected multibrand shops and the online store Studiohomme.com. The prices are €490 for each style, except for the New York jacket which is made of leather and costs a cool €540.Barbara Markert
