CANADA GOOSE CEO NAMED ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR

Dani Reiss, president and CEO of Canada Goose, Canada’s leading manufacturer of extreme weather outerwear, has been awarded by Ernst & Young as Canada’s Entrepreneur of the Year 2011.

Reiss said “The entrepreneurial spirit runs through everything we do at Canada Goose ... Even as we’ve grown on the world stage, we have stayed true and authentic every step of the way and that’s illustrated by the significant decision we made years ago to keep our manufacturing in Canada when many other apparel manufactures went off-shore.”

Reiss will now go head-to-head with entrepreneurs from 50 other countries for the Ernst & Young World Entrepreneur Of The Year honours, to be named in June 2012.
