CALIDA RECEIVES “UNDIES OSCAR”

Parallel to February's Academy Awards ceremony in Hollywood, the who's-who of the German underwear industry met in Munich for the “Sterne der Wäsche” (Stars of Underwear) awards where Calida won for its best-selling sleepwear of spring/summer 2011. “This retailer prize confirms our brand’s and collection’s continuous development. We are on the right path and feel very honored,” said Ivo Frey, Calida's German sales manager.
Specialized German retailers nominate candidates from the categories of swimwear, lingerie and nightwear at the annual “Sterne der Wäsche” awards. The award is also given internationally in London and New York.
