Bruno Banani turns 20 and appoints third CEOBruno Banani Underwear GmbH located at Chemnitz has extended its management team while celebrating its 20th jubilee.
From today José Borge, is a new member of the executive team as the third CEO of the company. Borge has maintained managerial roles at the company since September 2011 and will now be responsible for the wholesale, retail and the creation of the collections.
During the on going fiscal year 2013 the company has recorded a total turnover close to 100 million Euro. For the last 10 years the turnover has constantly increased. In October there were 110 employees and 750 licensee partners primarily working for the brand. Currently 30 countries are supplied with Bruno Banani products; the export ratio for the over-all market value is 40%, with a focus on Europe. The strongest export markets are Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Russia.
The brand currently has monobrand shops in Berlin, Chemnitz, Neumünster, Wolfsburg, Zweibrücken, Roppenheim, Roermond and Salzburg. Per year there are two new stores planned home and abroad.
