Berlin trade Show preview: Panorama

Panorama fashion fair Berlin will take place 14-16 January 2014 in the Fairground Berlin ExpoCenter Airport. Approximately 400 exhibitors will show their new menswear, womenswear, shoes and accessories collections for Autumn/Winter 2014/15. For the first time new brands such as Elfenhaut, Latini Leder, Levinski Fur, Orobianco, Primabase, Riani, Roberta Gadolfi, Diva and others are exhibiting. The four fair halls are divided into the segments Young Urban Universe, Best Of Contemporary Fashion and Casual Creativity.  For the upcoming edition, Panorama has announced the extension of its exhibition area. In addition to the three classic halls A, B and C, which remain the heart of Panorama, will be a new entrance hall D called “The Mall” and a new area called “L´Hotel”. The Mall is designed to resemble a shopping mall and will present fashion franchise and concession models from fashion corners, flagship stores, shop-in-shops and more. For this purpose, Panorama Berlin has extended the exhibition area with an additional hall of 6000sqm.

In response to the growing demand for successful suppliers with solid brand concepts for their markets, Panorama Berlin has devised this unique concept on behalf of the fashion industry and its customers, in particular the emerging markets such as the BRIC countries (Russia and China) and former Eastern Bloc countries like Poland, Czech Republic and Hungary. “With the new Mall segment we will reach new brands and visitors such as developers, merchandisers, franchising companies and store designers,” says fair managing director Jörg Wichmann.

L´Hotel is situated in Hall A, and shows select womenswear and menswear collections, shoes, accessories and jewellery – staged in the style of a deluxe hotel lobby. Jörg Wichmann: “With its spacious lobby including bar, the area is the perfect setting for open presentations with the focus on the products offered.” For a more intimate, showroom-like working atmosphere, closed off areas – the suites – are available next to the lobby.
