BESTSTELLER TO SHOWCASE IN SEPARATE LOCATION DURING BERLIN FASHION WEEK
Danish fashion concern Bestseller is going to present its own little tradeshow called "The Place to Be" during Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Berlin from January 18-20, 2012. The event will take place at Arena Berlin on Eichenstraße 4, next to the river Spree. Bestseller’s ten labels Vero Moda, Jack & Jones, Only, Selected Femme, Selected Homme, Vila Clothes, Pieces, Object, Mamalicious and Outfitters Nation are going to showcase a selection of their autumn/winter 2012/13 collections on an area of about 7,000 sqm.
Anders Gam, Buying Manager at Bestseller, about the reasons for presenting the Group’s several labels all together: "It was just a natural thing to decide that all our brands will be in the same place. We have a lot of the same customers from around Europe who come to shop around at many of our brands. At Bestseller we try to do things our own way and stick together with our people."
"The Place to Be" will open at 9 am each day from January 18-20. Customers, buyers and press/media representatives from a total of 13 countries are invited to take a closer look at Bestseller’s collections and enjoy accompanying entertainment. The event is supported by sponsors such as Volkswagen, Scavi & Ray Prosecco and Carlsberg. There will be shuttles commuting between Arena Berlin and the venues of Bread & Butter, Premium Fair and Mercedes Benz Fashion Week.
Bestseller was founded in 1975 and is till this day property of the Holch Povlsen family. The fashion company currently employs about 9,600 workers in 46 countries and caters 2,500 own retail stores and more than 12,000 external customers in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Canada.
