For three days and two evenings, the Arena hosted more than 2,300 invited guests from 13 countries at the debut event. The concept of the evening events on Wednesday and Thursday also proved Bestseller’s international character. Hit artist Aura Dione performed live in front of the fashion aficionados, along with many other artists, including songwriter Mads Langer, Anders von Hofsten, Givanca, Fallulah and former No Angel Lucy.

“For a long time, we have dreamt about showing our complete range of brands at a single event to buyers, our partners, and the press,” said country manager Lars Pedersen. “Now we are absolutely delighted with the success of our debut at Berlin Fashion Week. International guests from 13 countries have seen this unique trade show, and we are very happy with our great premiere in Germany. With our extensive portfolio of brands, we filled over 7000 square metres. In terms of trade shows, this is unrivalled. We had three very successful days in Berlin.”

Strong corporate partners such as Volkswagen, Scavi & Ray and Carlsberg supported the premiere of “The Place to Be” in Berlin. The international textile corporation Bestseller was founded 1975 and is, to this day, owned by the Holch Povlsen family. In 46 countries, Bestseller has 9,600 employees and serves 2,800 retail stores and more than 12,000 customers in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Canada.
