ARMEDANGELS WINS FAIRTRADE AWARD

On March 20, comedian Anke Engelke welcomed guests, nominees and fair trade ambassadors to the 3rd annual Fairtrade Award ceremony in Berlin. The ‘trade’ category was represented by actress Cosma Shiva Hagen, who has previously collaborated with Armedangel’s founders Anton Jurina and Martin Höfeler - the recipients of the award.
 
“I am a big fan of the winner,” said Hagen. “Armedangels is a counter point in the fashion industry.” This year the actress teamed up with the social fashion label to design a “Peace&Light” t-shirt. The shirt is a statement against exploitation, environmental pollution and child labor.
 
Armedangels is a licensee of Fair Trade and certified by GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard). Its garments are produced individually and ecologically.
