7 FOR ALL MANKIND: BARRY MIGUEL NAMED PRESIDENTDenim brand 7 For All Mankind has appointed industry veteran Barry Miguel as its President, effective April 20, 2011. Barry Miguel brings over 25 years of experience in the fashion apparel industry to the 7 For All Mankind brand that is part of VF Contemporary Brands, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of VF Corporation. As President of the 7 For All Mankind brand, he will be based in Los Angeles and report to Susan Kellogg, President of VF’s Contemporary Brands Coalition, which includes the 7 For All Mankind, John Varvatos, Ella Moss and Splendid brands.
Miguel most recently served as CEO of New York City-based company Tracy Reese. He started his career in retail merchandising with Wilkes Bashford and Esprit in San Francisco and has since then held executive positions at Ermenegildo Zegna, Versace and Nike. Furthermore, he was also President of Marc by Marc Jacobs Mens and Zac Posen.
“Barry is a seasoned leader and strategist in growing high profile contemporary brands,” Susan Kellogg commented. “He brings a broad base of skills and will be a tremendous asset to the 7 For All Mankind brand as we enter our next stage of growth.”
The 7 For All Mankind brand offers denim, sportswear and accessories collections for both men and women. Products are sold in freestanding stores of the brand, online, and in luxury department and specialty stores in over 80 countries worldwide.
