Thermore Celebrates 40 Years of Innovation in 2012

Thermore worldwide leader in the research, production and marketing of thermal insulations for apparel and sleeping bags, celebrates in 2012 forty years of innovation and leadership. Thermore will present the new TMK product line, featuring 50% Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) polyester fibers, and Rinnova, with a content of 100% Post-Consumer Recycled fibers bringing the company to the forefront in the development of high performance components with a strong focus on sustainability. Thermore® products meet every need of the sportswear and fashion industries; its unique scrimless design and fiber migration treatment allows for greater resistance and durability. These factors have resulted in a significant growth of the company over the last 10 years.

To celebrate its 40 years anniversary, as well as twenty years of activity in Asia, Thermore has developed the “Set Yourself Free” campaign that emphasizes the benefits for Thermore end users, total comfort and freedom of movement combined with body temperature comfort zone. The Company is also happy to launch the evolution of TMK and new Rinnova product lines. Thermore knows its customers are very interested in better ‘green’ choices that combine market leading quality with more eco-friendly solutions.

TMK, Thermore’s flagship flexible solution for all outerwear needs, will now feature a more sustainable production process and will be made of 50% certified recycled polyester. Thermore® TMK product line offers maximum design flexibility for outerwear and related accessories. The patented SR (Special Reduction) process allows up to four thicknesses of insulation per weight category: High Loft, Compact, Super Compact and Ultra Compact. The SR process allows a variance in the thickness of a chosen weight without a proportional loss in thermal value.

Rinnova is an ecologically advanced thermal insulation for optimal performance made with 100% recycled fibers from plastic bottles. Rinnova is an ecologically advanced thermal insulation, as it is 100% derived from Post-Consumer Recycled polyester offering ame Thermore standard performances and price level. With Rinnova, Thermore is looking to the future - being responsible today for a better tomorrow.

THERMORE® Therma-Scent®, a new definition of “easy-care”. This unique thermal insulation is beneficial for a variety of outerwear applications, offers continuous odor protection and allows the user to extend intervals between machine washings and minimize the overall frequency of washing.
